Cameron’s love of the real estate industry is centred around his interest in people and his strength in relationship building. With a degree in Psychology and Sociology from King’s University, he has taken a client-centred approach throughout his 30-year sales and marketing career. We sat down with him to chat about some lessons learned from working at Momentum and discover fun facts we might not have known.
1. What is your favourite part of your job?
Meeting focused and driven people that are forward thinking.
2. Have you learned any lessons at work that you carry for your life outside the office?
Tenacity pays off in the long run and always maintain a curious mind that craves learning and discovery.
3. What always brings a smile to your face?
Being active outdoors.
4. What do you most value in our team members?
A willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, a desire to consistently exceed expectations and striving towards excellence in all we do.
5. Can you share with us your favourite photo currently on your phone?
6. As a kid, what did you want to do when you were older?
Ride my bike and if I could dream big I would also raise chickens and goats.
7. What is your go-to method to decompress and reduce stress?
I love almost any active pursuit that takes place outdoors. The Okanagan is a massive and inviting outdoor playground. I love to cycle (gravel, road and mountain-basically anything with two wheels), paddle board, hike, camp, backcountry ski, snowshoe and cross-country ski to name a few.
8. What do you love about working with real estate?
The opportunity to have an impact on the quality of peoples lives. Our homes are such a significant part of our wellbeing and so in that sense should be a place we love. I feel privileged to be trusted with being a part of that process for people.
